Weatherization and Repair

Every year, we conduct free weatherization and safety repairs for hundreds of low-income households, seniors, and people with disabilities.

Our free home repair program focuses on serving people who:

∘ Own and occupy their homes in the City of Portland
∘ Earn 50% of median income or less (situationally up to 80% MFI)
∘ 2024 Income Guidelines can be found HERE
∘ Are 55 or older and/or have a disability

To see if you qualify, call or email our operations manager.

How does it work?

First, we will conduct an over the phone intake survey to qualify you for our programs.

Next, we will schedule an on-site audit to survey which repair and weatherization measures you are eligible for. This is your opportunity to show us where your needs are.

After the audit, CEP will schedule a time for our technicians to complete the repairs and weatherization measures. If you are eligible for expanded repairs or our direct replacement programs, we will coordinate those appointments too.
