As part of a coalition with Coalition of Communities of Color and Verde, Community Energy Project intervened in the Pacific Power rate case to advocate for lower rates and greater protections for low-income households. With the help of the Oregon Citizens' Utility Board, the Oregon Public Utility Commission staff, and our attorneys at Green Energy Institute at Lewis & Clark Law School, we were collectively able to secure a lower rate increase and deeper discounts within the low-income bill discount program. CEP will continue to fight for the needs of our community to provide equitable energy policies and programs.
