Siraat is a Climate Justice Associate at CEP and advocates for frontline and traditionally underserved communities to advance energy and climate justice. She also collaborates with other environmental justice stakeholders around equitable climate policy and rulemaking and program design.

Prior to joining CEP, Siraat worked as a renewable energy lawyer and an advocate for clean energy. She hopes that this transition to policy and advocacy will create real change at a systemic level towards the advancement of environmental justice and carbon neutrality.

Outside of work Siraat enjoys quieter pursuits like reading, cooking and drawing/sketching.
