Abasi is an In-Homes Auditor, conducting home assessments to provide homeowners with Home Energy Scores. They also develop scopes of work for home retrofits that will help homes become more efficient, safe, and comfortable for CEP clients.

After moving to Portland in 2021, they left their job of nearly a decade working in produce to pursue work in the trades. They became an apprentice carpenter, but after several internships and as many months, they realized their real passion is in equitable home performance. Abasi believes home performance has a major role to play in fighting climate change and improving peoples’ quality of life.

When they’re not working, Abasi enjoys reading, adventuring through Portland’s robust coffee scene, and planning future outfits for the next nearby renaissance fair.
