If I exceed the income guidlines, can I pay you guys to install materials?
At this point we only have the ability to serve clients that meet our qualification guidelines.
Why does this program only apply in the City of Portland?
The City of Portland is currently the funding source for the In-Home Safety Repairs Program, so we are limited to city boundaries at this time.
Can a friend or relative pick up materials for me?
Sure! We have many easy-to-use items such as bathtub transfer benches, hand-held shower heads, and carbon monoxide detectors that friends, family, and caseworkers can pick up from us if that's easier for you.
How do your clients find you?
Many of our clients hear about us through neighbors, friends, family, and case-workers. Many also learn about us from partner organizations such as REACH, Unlimited Choices, and Multnomah County.
Do I have to be a home-owner?
We weatherize for renters as well as home-owners, but it is the responsibility of the client to get permission from their landlord.
